The itinerary follows the traces of the ancient Insula della Sapienza, an area extraordinarily rich in archaeological memories and esoteric symbols, where the Iseum Campense once stood—the great sanctuary dedicated to the Egyptian deities Isis and Serapis. 

The route begins at Santo Stefano del Cacco, a church built on the remains of the Temple of Isis. Its curious name derives from the statue of an Egyptian monkey ("il cacco") found on site: a detail that still reflects the presence of Nilotic cults in the heart of Rome. 

From here, you continue toward Piazza della Pigna, named after the giant bronze pinecone sculpture now preserved in the Vatican, which was once an integral part of the ancient Isiac complex. 

The guide will explain how these decorative elements were reinterpreted and integrated into new contexts, symbolizing continuity between different worlds and cultures. The tour then reaches Piazza della Minerva, dominated by Bernini's famous elephant statue supporting an Egyptian obelisk, a tangible witness to the religious and artistic syncretism that characterized this area. If you are looking for a romantic atmosphere, head up to the terraces of the Janiculum or the Pincio at midnight to admire the fireworks illuminating the entire city from above.

Take advantage of the early hours of the day to stroll through the historic center, when the streets are still quiet and the squares less crowded. It is a rare opportunity to admire some of the city's most iconic locations, such as Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain, Piazza di Spagna, and the Pantheon square, immersed in an unusually relaxed atmosphere that is ideal for taking beautiful photographs. 

From here, you can choose how to continue your day. One option is to head toward Piazza del Popolo, walk through the greenery of Villa Borghese, and reach the Pincio Terrace, which offers one of the most striking views over the city. Alternatively, let yourself be captivated by the charm of the Jewish Ghetto, walking through its narrow streets rich in history and atmosphere. 

Continuing across Ponte Sisto, you will reach the characteristic Trastevere district, with its cobblestone alleys, lively squares, and the capital's most authentic views. 

It is the ideal place to end the day with an aperitivo or dinner, immersing yourself in the most genuine atmosphere of the Eternal City.
