Hotel Antico Borgo di Tabiano Castello

Accommodation in Junior Suite.

The Antico Borgo di Tabiano Castello is a charming "diffused hotel" spread across the historic dwellings of the fortified complex of Tabiano Castello. Situated over 300 meters above sea level among the hills of the province of Parma, surrounded by oak forests and pristine countryside, it overlooks the plains below. Spacious rooms, suites, and apartments located in the watchtower, the fortified part of the village, and the ancient stone and brick rural houses offer all modern comforts. Each residence is furnished with antiques, matching upholstery, hand-painted ceramics, and terracotta or decorated antique tile floors. The village features two wellness centers: one carved into a natural cave and the other in a house in the woods, located in the secret garden beneath the walls. Both are equipped with a Turkish bath, hot tub, sauna, emotional shower, and relaxation area. The restaurant is located in the old dairy and creamery where the king of cheeses was produced for over 200 years until just a few years ago. The premises date back to the 18th century and were adapted to the most modern techniques at the end of the 19th century.

Day 2, Parma

Day 2, Parma

A buffet breakfast will be served

After breakfast, a guided tour awaits you in the heart of Parma, one of Italy’s cultural capitals. The visit begins at the magnificent Piazza Duomo, where you can admire the majesty of the Romanesque Cathedral—housing the famous frescoes by Correggio—and the monumental pink Verona marble Baptistery, a masterpiece by Benedetto Antelami. The tour continues toward the imposing Palazzo della Pilotta complex, the ancient palace of the Farnese family. Inside, you will walk through history, discovering the spectacular wooden architecture of the Farnese Theater and the artistic treasures preserved in this timeless place. A morning filled with beauty, before returning to the hotel to prepare for the Gala Dinner.

Stop in the center of Parma to taste typical delicacies in one of the many historic shops. It will be the perfect opportunity to enjoy a light lunch or an aperitivo with Prosciutto di Parma DOP, Culatello di Zibello, and flakes of Parmigiano Reggiano, all accompanied by a fine glass of local Lambrusco or Malvasia. A true journey into flavor.

Back at the hotel, the evening will continue with the exclusive New Year's Eve Gala Dinner, designed to celebrate the arrival of the new year in the best possible way. The event will be fully accompanied by engaging musical entertainment with a DJ set, creating the perfect atmosphere for dancing and having fun. As the countdown strikes, the traditional midnight toast will take place to welcome the new year in a magical and timeless setting.

Day 3, Free time - Fidenza

Day 3, Free time - Fidenza

A buffet breakfast will be served

Today is at your disposal.

We suggest visiting the historic center of Fidenza on your own, a town rich in history and deeply linked to the Via Francigena route.

Strolling through its streets, you will reach the picturesque Piazza del Duomo, dominated by the majestic Cathedral of San Donnino, one of the most important examples of Emilian Romanesque architecture. Its famous facade, embellished with sculptures by Benedetto Antelami, represents an authentic masterpiece of medieval art and offers a splendid setting for a stop.

Continuing along the streets of the center, you can follow the traces of the ancient Via Francigena—the path trodden for centuries by pilgrims heading to Rome—all the way to Piazza Garibaldi and the monumental San Donnino Gate.
